Welcome to Barbed Wire Hollow!

We all have stories to tell, but I’ve found a form of therapy in sharing mine through the written word.

Recently, we decided to chase our long-held dream of finding a place in the country–just a little further out from where we now live on the outskirts of the St. Louis metropolitan area.

After searching for a place we could manage, we finally stumbled upon some hilly acreage that we could afford. Now I’m in the throes of planning a new home and doubling my commute to work as I’m facing my 60th birthday this fall.

What possessed us to do this? Call it a very late mid-life crisis if you will, but I’m excited about the change in lifestyle. I’ll take you along for the ride if you’d like to follow!
